Something Fun - For No Good Reason

I've seen this quite a bit on Fb and it is so true.

Isn't it though......I found it at a cat lovers site.

I copied the following from an email I got from my dad, who then got it from his brother. FYI, there is a general reference to politicians and I am not endorsing anything political.

The Haircut



One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut.

After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied, 'I cannot accept money from you , I'm doing community service this week.' The florist was pleased and left the shop.

When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.

Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you , I'm doing community service this week.' The cop was happy and left the shop.

The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen donuts waiting for him at his door.

Then a Congressman came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I can not accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week.' The Congressman was very happy and left the shop.

The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen Congressmen lined up waiting for a free haircut.



And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the citizens of our country and the politicians who run it.


BOTH POLITICIANS AND DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON!

 This is somewhat of an oldie but it still shows a basic truth.

JEEZ, that's been my house more than a few time over the years.

Which one, the last one? I bet if every shelter in the nation had a similar commercial more kitties would get adopted.

This one is interesting: a small town in Paraquay who made their musical intruments out of garbage. Somebody thought the kids should have something to brighten their days of picking through the trash besides their parents, and thought to teach them to play music was the ticket......now they're even making a movie about it.

I saw that 60 minutes. That was well inspiring.

Serendipity...my SO had ME TV on last night, I walked through the room, and there was an ad for Svengoolie ("Stock up on kitty litter! It's "The Black Cat"). Never heard of it, despite growing up in Iowa. Now I see a reference to it twice in 12 hours!

MichelleB - Svengoolie is the bomb!!! He went national a little over a year ago. I'm waiting for 9:00 so I can watch The Black Cat!!!

We get Svengoolie on Saturday nights here now too.
