Both are excellent plans. Check the website Australian Living off the Grid they may have some more idea.

I like them both. But, don't forget to put money into the budget for insulating the barn if you go that way. And, ask them if it comes with an elevated floor. If there's no floor, that's another pretty big expense. Good luck. Love the ideas!

I'm reading Blood Oil by Leif Wenar. He's my cousin, and has some very interesting things to say in the book. Not light reading, but worth the effort.

I got Princess between Worlds by E.D. Baker. It is a crossover between the Wide-Awake Princess series and one my favorite book series ever Tales of the Frog Princess.

Re: what cha readin??
I am reading The Hunchback of Notre Dame by Victor Hugo. I totally admit I skipped the three pointless chapters where he rambles about the cathedral, Paris and the printing press.
I am a big Disney fan so I wanted to check out the original story. I recently read Pinocchio and Tarzan of the Apes.
In the case of all three--the movies are way better!

One of my favorite chapters was the one about the cathedral.

Wow! You read the book too!
I don't think very many people have actually read it....they just know about or seen one of the movie versions.

I did read Pinocchio some years ago. I have read Les Miserables long time ago. It took me awhile to read it. I have been reading Pickwick Papers by Charles Dickens off and on for the past two months. I can only stand reading few chapters of it at a time as it is.

I got Harry Potter and the Cursed Child from the library. I am not a very big fan of the series but this play counts as an eighth story in the series so I might as well read it.

Re: what cha readin??
I returned to an old favorite - The Crystal Cave by Mary Stewart.
I got a letter from the author when I was a teenager. I wrote her a fan letter and she was kind enough to reply. A very horrible person we thought was a friend stole that letter. I was angrier about that than I was about the money that was in the same envelope.

A Hero of France. I like it well enough. Not fantastic, but good so far. It's a quick read.
