New barn kitty? Empty New barn kitty?

Post by bpaquet Mon May 06, 2013 10:28 pm

There is a skinny little stripy kitty who started hanging out in the barn. He/she is bedding down in the visiting horse's stall, and has a little nest in the back corner. He is very shy and won't let us get close. We're putting food out while we're around (to keep opossums and raccoons away), and I hope he will start to accept us. GK and Gateway seem to ignore him, so maybe this is meant to be. I hope to be able to get some contact and then take him to the vet for needed operations/vaccinations/etc. Let the taming begin!

Oh yes, and you remember how you tamed GK and got him to the vet. Feeding is good, so are treats....all while talking to him very softly.

He seems to have disappeared. No sign for the last 2 mornings. I hope he's still around.

I'm sorry to hear that Becky. I'm sure there is one or two in the
cards. I mean you can't have a barn without cats.
