Re: Bingo found a home
Spring must be on the way. His ear is bothering him a little. The shots are definitely helping. He isn't going after his paws and tail, but he has a little bit of ear itch. I might give him Benadryl tomorrow just to keep him comfortable. I'm trying not to though. It isn't as bad as it was last year.

Tomorrow is shot day. Poor dog has painful ears. After the shot, if things don't improve, it's off to the doc we go.

He was so good. It's like he knows it will help. I also bought some medicated ear cleaner in case he has a little infection. I am going to wait a little while to do that part. No reason to do so much to the poor guy all at once.

He feels a bit better today. Better energy and no sign of ear pain. Yippee!

I'm still cleaning his ears. Not as bad today. He hates that. He scrunches down and slinks off to hide in the bedroom when he sees the bag of cotton balls. Poor dog.

That's awful. Even treats don't help ease the discomfort?

It isn't discomfort. He hates the wet medicine that I squirt into his ears. He does get treats when I'm done. He likes those. I just feel bad that he hates the procedure so much. It is helping though.
Today's paper says that the early spring has lots of people suffering from allergies.

The pollen is wild for February. We got to almost 80 degrees today. Global warming is real, and it's making my poor dog suffer longer than he should. I just hope we don't get slammed with a week of freezing once everything blooms.

Allergies seem to be appearing early here too. Poor Bingo. I am glad though the meds help him so much.

He seems to be having a good day today. Not too much head shaking. I swear by the shots. He's not chewing on his feet and licking the fur off his legs.

We're having an early spring. That means he wants to spend a lot of time outside. He spent about 3 hours sleeping in the sun on the front porch. The UPS guy left a package, and I don't think he even woke up. Our UPS guy is really cool and brings dog cookies with him. Bingo loves the UPS guy.

Re: Bingo found a home
Poor dog tried to freeze himself. It wasn't quite frigid out, but the wind was incredible. He wanted to go out this afternoon, so I let him go. He stayed outside playing for quite a while, and must have gotten chilly. He's been on his pillow asleep (except for supper time) since he came in. I almost feel like I should give him some covers.

Give him some covers, even if it's just a sheet.

He rejected the covers, but he did make them into a nest.
