Not yet, but the application is finalized now. Just a matter of time until that eviction is done, the place is thoroughly cleaned, then I get a move-in date. The waders are a hassle to put on and take off but they DO work.

Bij was at the door all ready for lovin'. Mom was still working on the pantry so cuddle deprived again. Gave him a few stealth cuddles as mom put me to work right away. Finally got to sit down and cuddle properly just before his dinnertime. Nice thankyou cuddle afterwards (no burp). Took his postdinner nap in the bedroom since mom was still puttering around in the pantry and too many lights on to nap properly.
But when he heard her leaving and heard me get up he got on the walker seat and asked for a ride. Then asked for a walk. I was exhausted but took him for a nice long walk anyway. Bij was a happy lil camper then....so many smells to sniff, door decorations to look at. Of course, it worked up an appetite for crunchies. So I got a crunchies scented kiss nitenite.

Mouski has been a love bug these days too. He gave wet food scented kisses this morning. (Stinky, but kitty kisses are always good.)

I agree......I don't even really mind the wetfood scented kisses anymore.

Bij was quite the lovebug last night. We were really late, nearly his dinnertime, before I got there. Mom and I had gone to the store, had dinner late. I did get a nice greeting, a close snuggle (I think he missed me and was worried why I was late), then got his dinner. Lengthy thankyou snuggles, loads of purrs, and tons of kisses! I even got lots of nitenite kisses.

Bij was like that Sunday night.....I reeked of chicken! I was licked all over in case there was any residue...

Last night Bij was right at the door waiting for me. Nice but short hello snuggle, then mom left for brownies and ice cream (tenants only-darn it). But instead of snuggling with me some more Bij sat at the door waiting for her to return, and cried a few times too. Poor lil guy. He didn't want his meowmy to leave! She sure got the 3rd degree sniff when she got back....so many peoples smells on her and the smell of chocolate too. Wetfood Revue Show started soooo early.....after 1 1/2 hours of chorus after chorus along with runby snugglings he got his dinner. NO thankyous, no burp in passing, just disappeared into the bathroom and bedroom.

This morning I was treated to some mews and kisses (I was on the phone dealing with mom's government crap). Bij is always all over you when you're on the phone.

I wish I could, but he rarely talks into the phone. Just breathes.....
Got a nice greeting yesterday....We had a bit of an odyssey getting my license plate renewed, then had to fax 180 pages to SNAP office (took 1 1/2 hours to go through!). Practically mugged at the door! Snuggly is putting it mildly....Bij was glued to me! Purring up a storm too. Very Happy Of course he didn't fail to notice I'd been snuggling 'that puppy' again (who smothered me in kisses and nuzzling my neck in the lobby). The moment she saw me the tail started going a thousand miles an hour! I had to snuggle then, right? It's justified and Bij will just have to accept it. At least I'm not bringing that pup home to him, she'd scare him with her high energy. Got him his dinner, a nice thankyou cuddle, burp, and a walk to escort me to the patio door.
We'll see what sort of reception I get tonight.

OhNo, they wanted it by Saturday and she only got the letter asking for it this past Monday. Less than a week to get it to them. Faxing is a lot faster and her building manager did it for free. They wanted ALL medical bills, copays, bank statements, medical premiums paid for the past 10 months, plus the car title since she's half owner. They had no idea how much paperwork that was. Her manager now has a much better idea of where all her money is going, and a new insight into all the hoops you have to jump through to get a tiny bit of help from the state. He said doing that would be very stressful on the person and it was ridiculous and unnecessary.

Bij gave me a short snuggle when I got there last night. My hands were soooo cold from refilling the birdfeeder I used my forearms to pet him, until I thawed out. Then he got his usual massage and hugs. Mom wanted to give Bev some of her pantry overflow and her apartment is set up EXACTLY like the one I'll be getting so we went to her place for a while and I got some very detailed measurements while we were there. Her son recently died suddenly at Christmas, the only family member she has who treated her well. Very nice guy, I met him on several occasions. Got back to mom's just in time for Bij's dinner. Coming from the bedroom and I asked him did he want dinner and I headed straight for the kitchen. Boy was he running to keep up with me! Purrs, mews, tail shivers, and a few trills......ate like he was starving. Got quite a few chicken-scented kisses and a long thankyou snuggle. Even got an escort (riding on the walker) to the patio door and he watched me cross the yard.

Got some wonderful snuggles last night. Of course we came back from Petsmart with a big bag of food for him, litter, and treats. We went to Donnas' for a while after we got back to help her figure out her new oxygen tank setup so I left earlier than mom to spend time with my sweetie. Nice big dinner, lovely thankyou snuggles and kisses. Lots of purrs. Then nitenite kisses from his cuddlebed when I got ready to go home. No ride or walk, he was too tired I guess.

Now I'll be the one who's too tired for anything after walking everywhere in the cold. I'll be lucky to have the energy to chase after him to insist on a snuggle.

He sure does. Bij was at the door waiting for me (mom was in the community room for a tenant only dinner) so the little guy was a tad lonely. Watched me strip off all those extra layers, grab 2 blankets, and ask him to come warm me up and give me some love! Got lots of very warm kisses (thanks, my nose and cheeks needed that!), deafening purrs (to drown out the hum in my head), and a loooooong warm lap snuggle (after kneading me for about 15 minutes....he does that to mom but very rarely to me). Bij was glued to me most of the evening, except when the crunchies bowl, water dish, or litterpan called to him. Then it was right back in my lap, my arms, or draped over my shoulder warming my neck up. I didn't mind: after riding the bike 11 miles to get a newspaper (for the car ads) and check on Renees' (I'm still housesitting) I just could not warm up. Even a hot shower didn't completely thaw me out. Took my toes 3 HOURS to thaw out and stop feeling cold, thanks to kitty warmth. Mom got the 3rd degree when she finally came home, but Bij came right back to me after his dinner for more snuggles. I even got nitenite kisses and he KNEW I was leaving.

Mom reported he got a nice long walk in the halls Saturday night after I left.

Gateway knew what you needed: kitty warmth. Bij knew too. Kitty warmth works wonders on cold peoples.

Bij was right at the door again, eager for cuddles. Mom had been napping but he left her for me. Watched me strip, and barely had time to arrange the blankets before he was settling in on my lap to warm me up. Very Happy When he was going to lay down butt facing me I asked "Can't I see the cuter half?" so he turned around to face me, laid down.....and purred loudly for me. Such a sweet boy. Stayed with me most of the evening, I got him his dinner, very nice thankyous too. But Bij decided to prewarm the couch up for mom (she'd left for Donna's) but I did get quite a few nitenite kisses.

I've had at least one kitty on my lap almost all day. They are NOT pleased with the weather. But, it did give them quite a good show at the bird feeders today.

I know, I sure appreciate Bij's warmth!  Mom doesn't but I do.  At the door again waiting for me, followed me to the chair, and climbed right up when I sat down.  Nice warmup snuggle with purrs after the 3rd degree sniff was over.  I even got kneaded a little bit.  cheers   Such a snuggly lil guy and stayed with me a long time.  Mom said he was buttering me up for an early dinner but I knew better.  If that was the reason he'd do a bunch of fly-by snuggles and off to the kitchen.  Got him his dinner pretty close to on time, got my snack, we both ate, I got a wonderful thankyou cuddle, and off to the cuddlebed next to me.  If I lean over I can give and get kisses (and I did just that).  More nitenite kisses when I asked for them too.

I stopped at my sis' after work. She's fostering a puppy for an old family friend who had heart surgery, he turns out to also be a shirttail relative according to mom. Very cute lil girl.....yorkie mix with tons of energy. Smother you in kisses and cuddles, wants to play a lot too. Very smart. Loves everybody! Maggie is a little jealous but plays with her. They are about the same size so this pup will end up maybe 1/2 again or twice Maggies' size fullgrown. Still a small dog. Moxie even plays with this pup a little.

That pup is adorable!!! Bij is cute too. Last night was no exception, at the door waiting patiently for me to strip off all those extra layers (3 coats, 3 scarves, a sweater, 4 pairs of pants). In my lap without having to ask, warming me up with snuggles and hugs. Purred for me too (the warm breath felt good on my ear BTW). Stayed with me quite a long while, then bugged mom for crunchies. Snuggled with me some more. Left for the bathroom and when he got back looked me straight in the eye, paw on my arm, and mewed ever so softly. Dinner, please. Got it for him, and he trilled all the way to the kitchen. Ate for a long time, cuddled with me some more, and back to the bowl. Back for burping, and nap in my lap. Waited patiently for me to bundle up, then went for a walk with mom to see me off at the patio door.

Bij spent a part of last night warming me up! I had to go help Donna immediately after work so I was really really tired and sore. Bij watched me soak my sore feet, bandage up the cut one, massage the other sore one, and as soon as I had socks on again was right on me looking for hugs. Such a sweet lil guy, so patient when I hobbled to the kitchen to get him his dinner. Wonderful thankyou cuddle and kisses.
