I got to do it again Friday night. My meowmy took me to see my Lori at midnight and she was already in bed! Last night I made sure to escort her home and give her some lovin' cuddles. She sure seemed to need it. She was upset about something and meowmy was too. But they weren't upset about something I did so I wasn't in trouble. Friday afternoon meowmy was sitting down to eat a piece of cake and feel asleep right in the plate! I was MOL at that, it was even in her glasses.
I was a good boy though when she fell asleep before eating her oatmeal with sugary milk on it. I didn't go after that milk at all even though I love it. She'd kept me awake for nearly two whole days so I was exhausted!

MOL! I have seen a picture of my meowmy when she was a baby. She fell asleep in some cake too. She looked funny.

I finally think I caught up on my sleep.....I snuggled a lot with meowmy yesterday, then my Lori when she came over. I went to her place twice! No open windows but her cool airs was blowing so it wasn't hot like the hallway to get there. It was so hot outside I slept on the couch right in front of the cool airs. When I got too cold I snuggled with meowmy to share her heat....but she complained I was too hot to lay on her. HHMMPPHH! I watched them refill the birdfeeders and water the garden. Boy were they radiating the heat when they came inside! Got nice dinners, snuggles, and kisses.

My house warms up a little in the afternoon so I can sit near the windows and watch the birds. Then right before my caddy gets home, it cools down so I can snug.

The only cool we have here right now is the constantly running cool airs in the homes everyone has. I went upstairs with meowmy to see if my Lori was done with laundry (she wasn't there so I guess she was done) but I just had to stop and sniff at Andy's door. I've never met him but I know he's a big cat from the scent. I looked for open window at my Lori's but she had the cool airs running too. Nice walk there and back, then another dinner and a treat. I had to practically order meowmy to go to bed last night!

I got to take my after dinner nap on my Lori's lap last night. She gave me a nice dinner without my having to plead for it. Then she rocked me, massaged me, and I just drifted off to sleep. I even got a little frosting off a cookie she had. Escorted her home, checked for mice, burglars, and bugs too. Then had to tuck meowmy into bed too.

I was a good boy yesterday. I snuggled with meowmy all day long, followed her everywhere to make sure she was okay. Gave my Lori a few minutes of snuggles, got my dinner and catnip chaser, and gave my meowmy more snuggles. I didn't even get up to escort my Lori home but I did give her a nitenite kiss.

Folks, don't believe everything Bij said about being good all day......when mom and I went out to water the garden and refill the birdfeeders yesterday guess who was in the living room window where he's not allowed except at my place?

WINDOWS! A kitty can't resist a good window. The one near my bird feeder needs to be cleaned so bad! There are cobwebs on the outside of it. I don't know why the spiders like that window. The kitties are fascinated by them, and watch them do their work. It creeps me out!

We have to keep washing off the nose prints from our windows!

Bij mostly ignored me Saturday night AND last night. We didn't have a movie at Brads' since he wasn't home but Bij was glued to mom's hip! I only got a tiny bit of attention when he wanted dinner. No thankyou, no burp in passing, just back to mom to reglue himself to her hip--literally. Sunday was the same, I only got a tiny bit of laptime....until mom laid down on the couch. Lost my kitty immediately. Even when escorted home he was looking back at mom and glued himself to my slightly open windows and mom. Not even a backwards glance when he left with mom.

I have no idea but I got the same treatment last night. I had to insist on lovin' attention. Guess I'll have to try a combination of 'fresh out of the shower' wet hair and catnip perfume. Maybe that will work?

At least I did get a couple kisses from him last night.

I finally got a little love last night. Mom refused to lay down, the couch was full of scrunched up blanket (he hates that), so the only place to lay down in comfy comfort was my lap. I gave him dinner too, and a burping session (more of a belch). Mom by that time had moved the blanket so off to take his half out of the middle for a powernap. He didn't stir when mom asked if he wanted to go out (I was leaving) so no escort home. He didn't come down later either.

Bij actually gave me some attention yesterday. Mom was dead to the world asleep so I got nearly an hour of Bij lovin' before I left to watch a movie. Mom came with him nearly 2 hours later...off to the window to see if it was cracked open for fresh air. No. Bedroom window? No. Back to mom to ask her to open a window....I opened it a crack and he sat there looking outside watching the neighbors across the street having a party. Different view. Bedroom window open with fan blowing....we go looking for Bij but couldn't find him. Finally saw a tail flicking in the bedroom curtain: he was stuck between the window screen and the fan. Silly boy. He didn't even call out for help. I have no idea how he got in there as he can't jump that high to get in it and there's nothing close enough to jump from to get in there either. Grateful when I got him out of there, I got lots of kisses and purrs. Mom took him home real quick after that and he practically jogged home!

They find ways can't even dram about.

I know it! GK, who never jumps on anything, sure did find springs when he wasn't supposed to be jumping around while he recovered.

Bij has been giving me more attention the past few days but nothing like he give his meowmy! He's literally glued to her hip for everything...to her exasperation sometimes. No escort last night, he was powernapping on the couch. Guess my niece and her hubby coming for a short visit tired him out. He made sure to greet them with a cheerful mew and was rewarded with a hi and petting in return.
