That sounds so good. I'm having a steak tomorrow, with some corn pudding and some type of greenery.

BLTs sound so good! Alas, no garden this year, mom has no tomatoes yet in her garden. No idea whats for dinner tonight, had a huge salad last night though (store had lots of salad greens on clearance earlier this week).

Ate late lunch, so skipped supper. Mexican food for lunch - yummy veggie burrito with more veg than cheese. Quite tasty. I wish I could have pico with a side of burrito.

BLTs. The most amazing tomato from the farmers' market. I only have salad sized ones here, so all BLTs are courtesy of other people, and they are SO good to us. I love summer food.

That sounds delicious. I need to get some good grilling cheese. I think a grilled cheese and tomato sandwich would be good. Have lots of tomatoes to eat.

Re: For Dinner Tonight?
Crab cakes with a tomato salad on the side. (Tomatoes, salt, pepper, really good olive oil, basil) Tomatoes are going strong, and my volunteer plants are showing some Camparis and grape tomatoes from winter seeds that were in compost that hadn't quite finished. They are still green, so I think I'll have late season fruit.

Eating crab everything is required in this part of the world at this time of year. I forget that not everyone gets the luxury. October will bring oyster season at the close of crab season. It is good to live on the Bay.

Tonight was quesadillas made with the leftover flour tortillas and cheese from Saturday's steak tacos. It wasn't anything fancy, but real tasty for a busy day. We have some excellent salsa from my dad's farmer friend.
