I do tell sad stories. My hooman doesn't mind since she is used being told sad stories. Jack told her sad stories all the time.

I tend to get extra attention by telling sad stories. My hooman could almost hear purrs from Jack and Tortie last week. It made her sad, but they knew they were loved.

My favorite hooman sometimes wonders if Jack knows that I'm being taken care of. My hoomans have been taking care of me since I was born. Jack took care of me until he crossed the Bridge.

My hooman keeps buying me tinned food when there are unopened boxes of tinned food. She doesn't want me to run out. I heard her complained about tinned food shortage.

Junko, it's true! My meowmy went to buy us some the other day and she said the store was almost out. She says she can't justify buying too much because other kitties might need some, but she buys a couple extra cans every time so we don't run out. I am very picky and only like a certain kind. She is worried that I might not eat if she has to buy a different kind.

I eat what I am giving. What I don't eat, goes to the outdoor cat my caddy takes care of. My hooman buys different variety boxes so I won't get tired of certain flavors.

I don't get it. My hooman wants to get her fur. I don't get my fur cut.

My meowmy just wants fur. Hers looks very silly as it's growing back in, It makes me remember my tummy after they did my surgery,

My hooman wanted to have fur off her neck since it is getting warm outside.

If I did my math right and have the right date, spoiled colorful furball will turn nine on the 18th.

I'm still getting spoiled. I've been told calicos and tortoiseshells are different kind of special. I do know I was born with pretty fur.

Tortie was born pretty and showed up in the yard a feral Queen.

There is a very pretty kitty who likes to visit our yard. I don't think he/she is feral though. Beautiful long hair without mats speaks to someone caring for him/her.

There was a orange tabby that showed up yesterday. It was the first time I have seen this cat. The cat ate all the food the regular feral left.

Re: Junko, calico kitten
Does he/she seem feral or just a local pet who is getting an easy second lunch?

Not sure about the cat being feral. We didn't try to interact with the cat. It definitely wanted food.

Junko went to the vet today. It was an annual visit to get shots. She was a good girl and couldn't get enough attention after getting home. Junko made sure I gave her a belly rub.

Re: Junko, calico kitten
We have some neighborhood kitties who roam around. I saw a beautiful orange long haired cat behind our house. He has not shown back up, but I've seen him in other places. Fortunately, all the neighborhood kitties seem to be cared for. The feral ones are not obvious here, although I know there are some.

I did see the orange tabby few more times since the last visit. It came to eat what food that was left out for the other feral cat. The tabby seemed scared or skittish.

My mom wants to get another cat for Junko's sake. Junko is still lonely, being the only cat now. She spent almost all her life with siblings and seems lost without a sibling. Junko is still loved and still gets taken care of.

Aww! As long as they get introduced slowly, I think that's a great idea. If Junko is lonely for other kitties, it's a great thing to do.

I'm ok with Junko having a sibling. I prefer an older cat.
