Dogs can be very playful too. Cats can be very needy too.

Truth! My cats have been pretty independent recently. They just don't want to be bothered. I think they're thinking of new places to leave surprise fireballs. It's shedding season. LOL

Tortie goes to my dad to have her needs met. Junko comes to me for hers.Sometimes it can take a long time for me to get Junko to settle down after I get home from work.

I know both miss me. My dad is Tortie's favorite. I have now become Junko's favorite. Jack took a long time to settle down after I got home.

Aww!
My kitties come running to see me when I go somewhere and then come back. And then they act like they are insulted that I dared to leave them.

I still getting my portion of milk each morning. There has been a few mornings when my hooman came to the table without my milk. How rude! One look at me and she turns around and gets me milk.

My meowmy tried to give me milk when I was tiny. I did not like it. My sister snubs hooman food, so she hasn't even gotten an offer.

Lorien never ate human food. She wanted to sniff the human food.

Winnie is like that. She enjoys some foods, but she really just wants to investigate.

Lorien was cute about it. She would come to me and start sniffing the air near the plate. I held the plate near her face for her to check it out. Once she was done sniffing, she took off.

Winnie turns tail and snubs. Mouski, on the other hand, reaches up because he wants to try everything. He hates most of it, but if he somehow gets a taste of fish or chicken, he keeps reaching up to the plate. I've created a monster!

Tortie likes to eat fish and chicken. She gets on the table and sasses for her share of the food. Tiny bites of fish and chicken gets put on a napkin when my dad and I have them for dinner. If Tortie's share isn't on a napkin, she won't have anything to do with it. Such a Drama Queen.

Oh man! The kitties here are not fed from the table. They got way obnoxious about things like that. It makes me crazy that Mouski reaches up, and I'm trying to persuade him that it's bad behavior. He's getting better. I just need to remember that he only gets food in his kitty dish.

Re: Junko, calico kitten
Tortie does get her morning feeding on my dad's desk. She usually takes me to the desk. The only time Tortie gets human food at the table is when she finds out and begs to have a share. She usually doesn't have an interest in human food.

Winnie is just a snubber. She seems to want us to know that we are NOT that important. She will even snub our food. LOL

Re: Junko, calico kitten
For the past few months, Junko has been fascinated with the bathroom sink. She will wait on the sink for someone comes by and looks in. Sometimes I get the water bowl to change the water in it in front of Junko and leave it in the sink. Some time later, I check in on her and will still be sitting there. Water bowl goes back to the kitchen. I have even used the neti pot in front of Junko and that amuses her. Sometimes that isn't even enough. I usually end up getting a big blue water bottle from the kitchen and fill it up in the bathroom sink. Then I leave it in the sink and that usually makes Junko happy. Yesterdy afternoon, I went down the hallway for whatever reason and looked in the bathroom to find Junko in the sink. I went back to the table to get my phone to take a picture of her in the sink. Few steps in the bathroom, I discovered a soggy bathroom mat. I looked down and found the blue bottle with very little water left in it. Then I realized it was where Junko could knocked it over. She knocked it over. My mom forgot to put the full bottle of water back inside the sink after she brushed her teeth. Junko looked like she was proud of herself.

Silly kitty!
Archimedes used to sleep in the bathroom sink all summer long. I guess it was because it's a cool place in a cool room. He also used to demand drinks from the faucet when we would go in to brush our teeth.

True. The kitties here do not want their water to move around. They demand fresh water daily in their little ceramic bowl.

Cats also don't like anything floating in the water.

Is she into another phase, or just out of the sink?
