Amen to that.
I've had to go to my Lori's place the past few nights. She's been feeling puny and runs off to the human litterbox a lot. I peeked in on her once to make sure she was okay. I purr for her, love on her, check the place out for mice and burglars (and treats-you never know). Mom works on a jigsaw puzzle, I check for dropped pieces. I used to head directly for a drink after that long walk down the hall to her place, but the past few nights I head straight for her instead, THEN get a drink. Still no litterpan for me. *sigh*

She may have forgotten, it sounds like she's been busy. Tonio

I hope your Lori is feeling better. I don't like it when my meowmy is puny. She ignores me too much even though I love on her a lot.

Same here.

My Lori has been sooo busy lately, meowmy too. Bugman is coming again, holidays coming up (YUM!), and all sorts of stuff involving paperwork. The past two nights I've been glued to my Lori, to her obvious delight. Of course, I do make her come get me sometimes to prove she wants me to snuggle, and hum really loud when she picks me up. Last night I raced her to her door and won! Got treats too! I was a very good boy, she said so.

I'll try to stop in more but my meowmy and my Lori keep me soooo busy (and up late at night-meowmy). I hummed for mom and my Lori a lot yesterday and made sure to glue myself to meowmy all day long, my Lori all evening long. Got a nice dinner, burping, rocking, and a nice nap after I got comfy on her shoulder, nuzzling her ear. Hummed myself to sleep.

I was soooo tired from helping meowmy clean up her piles of stuff. I now have more room to run!
Gave my Lori a few snuggles and asked for dinner, got it, burped, got brushed and rocked, then off to bed. She left while I was napping but I heard the door close and mewed loud for meowmy to take me to see her. But when I got there my Lori was behind me in the hallway! How did she do that? Still, I went in, got my drink and treat, checked the place for burglars, sniffed the fresh air coming in the windows (boy was that nice of her to open them for me!), tucked her into bed, and made meowmy go home and tucked her into bed too.

No nitenite kisses for me but I did get purrs and cuddles before Bij left my place. I took my trash out and came up behind him in the hallway just as he got to my door.

OhMyCat, what I've been through the past few days. I was awakened from my nap and put in the traveling kitty jail....in the cold car.....and the place where they stick you with needles and put stuff up your butt. I was shivering from the cold and I was scared so my Lori put me inside her coat and held me close to warm me up. Then that guy came in the room: he tried to be nice about it but I was still scared. I was very still when they poked that needle in my neck, I didn't make a sound. My Lori and meowmy were fussing over me though and when I got home I got a nice wetfood lunch! Boy, was I surprised about that. Then later on I went to visit my Lori's place and found she'd put a big pot on the little table next to the rocking chair. IT HAS CATNIP IN IT! There's something else in there too but I didn't care, I wanted some of that catnip. I got a leaf.
Last night I insisted on visiting again and went straight for the catnip plant. I got another leaf.

Heaven help me if that catnip plant dies on me now. Bij doesn't even check the apartment out until after he's checked out that plant.

OH!! Mi amigo, I know how you feel. I was at the vet's on Friday too. I know your Tia and Meowmy will take the best of care of you. Tonio

And there's catnip! Wheee! I'm glad you're home and happy now, Bij. And, like your Auntie Sue says, your meowmy and tia are the best caregivers.

I was up all night, asking meowmy for food. She wouldn't give me any at all! I was sooo hungry. After the sun came up meomwy stuffed me in the traveling kitty jail again and back in the car, back to that place. At least my Lori warmed the car up so it wasn't so cold, and tucked me inside her coat again to warm me up. But a lady I didn't know tried to stick a needle in my leg and I protested as loudly as I could. Then another lady I did know came in and stuck a needle in my other leg. OUCH! I didn't protest this time though, she was much better at it so I barely felt it. Still, the indignity of being held all stretched out on my back. My moewmy and my Lori both fussed over me again and took me home right away. FINALLY, I got something to eat. I was eating my crunchies fast when my Lori put treats in my little treat bowl. Then meowmy gave me a hot wetfood breakfast! OhBoy, if only I could get this without having to go in the traveling kitty jail first. Now off for a nice long nap.....

We had to take him in for blood tests this morning. They're now suspecting a tumor is causing that cyst on his thyroid. We're still afraid for our sweet boy.

Did you contact the local authorities about this cruelty? Horrendous!!! Well at least you got extra special treats and meals for all the indiginities. Antonio

Vet just called, thyroid tests came back normal.

Great news!

I looked over his tests: liver function is fantastic, kidneys okay (he was a tad dehydrated-otherwise it looked like borderline like my tests), but his cholesterol is a tad high. The cyst is refilled.

I've been getting two dinners! I walk to my Lori's to make sure my catnip is still growing, get treats, another dinner, snuggles. My Lori got me a litterpan but I snubbed it.

Go for it. If your staff thinks you're ailing they will do anything for you.

It's true! You should see what they are doing for my brother. He has his own castle and gets lots of foodies.
