Fortunately, it was just vegetable oil, and I hardly ever use it. No great loss. The lamb sounds delicious. One of my favorite meats.

Mine too. I know many people don't like it. Still it's not that hard to cook. The taste and texture is different from beef. As to the oil, I use canola oil mainly but I don't buy large bottles for my personal use..

Tonight was a nice thick pork chop and mashed potatoes and salad. Very filling and tasty. It was nice to grill in the warm weather. It's getting chilly tonight.

I am enjoying being able to chew softer foods again without my lowers trying to float out of my mouth to choke me. They do come loose after a while trying to eat a handful of raw walnuts, almonds, stuff like that but not the other stuff I was trying to eat the past month!
I'm thinking of trying to eat some porkchops....haven't had those since before Christmas! And of course, fresh asparagus to go with it.

Mmmm... Asparagus. It should be in season really soon too. Glad to hear the chompers are healing.
We had meatloaf and mashed potatoes. It was delicious comfort food.

Chili for cold, rainy weather. We made it with ground turkey and it was surprisingly good.

It is good, while not as rich as chili made with beef it's still good. Fried chicken and potato salad made with homemade mayo. Washed down with a nice white from Chile.

I used some of last year's garden tomatoes that I cooked and froze to make spaghetti sauce. It turned out so good. I can't wait to put in plants for this year's batch of tomatoes.

I don't put mine in until the end of April or beginning of May. Our nights still get frosty for a few more weeks.

Fried chicken with salad on the side. Orange Jell-O for dessert. Yeah... I love Jell-O.

Love crab. Grilled a small steak, with asparagus and mashed potatoes.
It was an instant mash but I added some sour cream to them.

YUM! I had reheated leftover Chinese from the takeaway. It was spicier than it was yesterday.

Quickie chicken alfredo. We used ready-made noodles and added some cooked chicken. It was actually pretty good.

Homemade beans and rice. Tasty and quick. I am wondering what to do tomorrow. I don't want to go to the store. There's chicken in the fridge, but we're short on veg. I can't wait for the CSA to start.

Re: For Dinner Tonight?
We went out last night. We shared an appetizer of "mac and cheese egg rolls." It was deep fried egg roll wrappers around mac and cheese. It was weirdly delicious, but I think I'm still full. Gut bombs!

I'll have to think about that. Sounds weird, still if you say they were good then I'd be willing to try them.

Re: For Dinner Tonight?
The mac and cheese was very good. I don't think I'll have them again. I'd prefer the mac and cheese the classic way -- in a bowl.
