i turned on the sound and hit it and salem (who is sitting behind me on the chair) sat up and looked around me (I hit it several times)...he was looking all over for that cat! Toothpick came over and sat next to the table and was looking up here to see if that new cat was getting more attention than him.

before i clicked out of it tonight (I had to put it on FB cuz i have people in there who aren't in here)i clicked it a couple more times. Salem sat right up and Toothpick actually came running over here! I'd sure like to know what that button cat is saying!

No No No!!!! Lord have a mercy! I listened to that, and I don't want that going off anywhere near me! Not only would I immediately, instinctively, think Weez was in distress, but the cat and dog would both jump immediately to arms! Hoo! Chaos!

If I heard an alarm like that I would be on full alert, but I'd only want to hear it if Weez were actually in trouble. If it was hooked, say, to the smoke alarm, it would certainly wake me up, but I'd be looking for my cat, not a fire. False alarms like that I can live without.

What's it supposed to be for?

I have to email that link to my mom, her building's computer has a speaker in it so I can actually hear it.

suzzz its from Archie McPhees which is a costume/joke/weird stuff store. the alarm is just a cat meowing twice. its for people who miss their kitty when they're at work and need to hear a meow
they have other ones as well....there's one that yodels! (actually, they something that yodels that isn't even a button...i want to say its a pickle but i'm not sure). its the same place that has the crazy cat lady game and the flying cat catapult!

I got to hear it at mom's building on their computers..........mom doesn't want to play it for Bijoux. She doesn't want to confuse him wondering where the hidden kitty is.

makes me want to go out and adopt a kitty.

What could be better than two lil black brothers to cheerfully greet you when you come home after a hard day at work? Entertain you like no tv show can? And comfort you when you're feeling down? Nothing I can think of.
