How's the weather?

Still too damned hot and humid and the building manager hasn't bothered to turn on the AC in the building hallways yet. I did laundry at 11pm last night and it was still over 80 in the room despite no one using it all day long because it was too hot in there.

That could be dangerous.

First heat wave of the summer, but not terrible. About 90 with 60% humidity. Pretty dry for the East Coast.

Hot and somewhat humid.

Still hot and more humid. The cooling rains went south into central and south IL. Some places got nearly 5" and some flooding. We didn't get a drop.

The THI was over a hundred here today.

Nice today, about 76 and less humid. Ahhhhh.....that's much better!

Well we just a thunderstorm move in. Didn't do a thing for the humidity.

We're getting what you had, Fiff. It's going to warm up for the weekend, but I'll take it if the humidity stays like it is now.

Going to be in the mid 90s with high humidity tomorrow. Summertime! So far, it's been a pretty pleasant season. We have to pay our dues at some point.

After being hot and humid a couple days yesterday we nearly had to use the heat! Now today it's about 80, not so humid, and sunny. But it'll be back in the broiler by the time I go back to the dr. for a CT-Angiogram and the rheumatologist.

Southern summer. Nothing like it. But, I'll take it so I don't have to do Midwest winter.

Amazing. Our high temperature today was 77 degrees, and there was no humidity even after the past 2 days of rain. I don't know where this came from, but I'll take it. The next week looks pretty nice too. I hope we can keep the windows open since we're going to pay dearly for running the AC during the past 2 weeks of heat.

I can't believe it's August. The temps aren't too bad, and the humidity is reasonable. I've heard a rumor of some leftover tropical weather heading up the coast, so we're probably doomed soon, but it's just plain lovely right now.

We got a sprinkle yesterday, the big storm is supposed to roll in tonight. Figures, I leave at 4am again for that long ride into Chicago.

Yup... It's August now. We had a little teaser of autumn, but now it's hot an humid like I expect in mid-late August. It's not so bad. We had a nice break. It would be REALLY strange (and nice) to have a cool summer in the south. Today is a bit better than yesterday. If the water from the storm dries up enough, I need to mow the lawn. It looks like a jungle!

There's a FREAKIN' storm in the Atlantic. Send "go away" vibes, please. We're getting a good dose of rain from leftover Harvey, but it's nothing really to worry about. We'll be wet, but NOTHING like Houston.
