We do too! I might come outside if the people are calm and sitting with my peoples, but my sister stays in her hiding place. If it is strangers carrying things, I stay hiding. I don't like all the noise and weird smells.

The weather was so nice here in Dallas yesterday that Food Lady left the balcony door open all day. We loved it. Even Hope spent time on the balcony. Squeaks

It did get warm today. It may take a few weeks to get the kitchen done. Waiting on the counter tops. Fortunately, I had bought a electric kettle for hot water when I need it. I bought my current car early in the pandemic when the dealerships still had good inventory and prices weren't sky high.

I finally got the new vacuum cleaner out of the box and put together. It is awesome. I never thought I would say that about a vacuum cleaner. I'm planning getting a car in the fall. I'm leaning towards either a Suburu or a Volvo.

I don't know anything about Suburu or Volvo. I like it when vacuum cleaners actually pick up a lot with little effort.

My mom bought a Bissel last year and it actually picked up more than I thought it would.

My friend has her 4th Suburu, All of them have lasted over 10 years. My dad is on his second, and it had one major problem, but has been a workhorse otherwise. Volvo is a good car too, but I know fewer people with them just because they're expensive. I have loved my Hyundais and Toyotas.

I have a cheap Chevy. It has been a decent car for me, since I use mainly commuting to and from work.

I'm leaning towards the Suburu for two reasons. People I've talked that own them love them. Also it's smaller than the Volvo, which is better for me.

Chevy's are good cars, I may check into them.

I have had my car for 10.5 years and it has almost 230k miles on it. It's a true beast - even though it's one of the smallest cars around anymore.

I want to keep my car until the engine dies or it starts to have a lot of issues.

That's always my plan. When repairs cost more than 3 car payments, I consider looking.

I finally hit 15,000 miles on my car in the past few days. It took me almost four years to hit that milestone

I would be about the same now. So different from when I lived in the country. I drove almost 200 miles a day to work when we had the farm. Now, I work from home and I mostly stay in town. Occasionally, I drive 120 miles to see my friends in the DC area.

I don't even know how far my car can go one tank of fuel, since I don't do day trips to anywhere.

That's okay. the only thing I would recommend is never let yourself get below a half a tank
