Re: what are YOU thankful for?
Sounds like a great amount of stuff got done in only a couple days. Good work Jeane!
I'm thankful I got an appt to get my rent recert done BEFORE July's is due, so it won't be as much. Now I can pay one credit card bill that came in the mail yesterday in addition to the rent.

Thankful it finally COOLED OFF here, at least for a few days. We really needed a break from the Augustlike weather we've had lately.

Re: what are YOU thankful for?
thankful the keyboard i had to use to replace the other one works BETTER than the other one did. (does that make sense?)the old one plugged into the back of the computer and had to be unplugged and plugged back in every time i turned the computer on. (I got a few of those cheap at work a few years ago and none of them worked when i tried to replace the one i'd been working)This one plugs into the USB on the front and so far works fine even if its set up different (no # key pad on the right)...it only cost me 98cents brand new and its pretty pink and silver;)

i don't know what i'm thankful for today (had a fairly long talk with andrea about what is going on upstairs and though nothing is immediate, its still not good news in the least and is stressing me out..)I guess i'm thankful i'm not having a heart attack from all the stress that i have no control over.

Re: what are YOU thankful for?
she seems to be doing okay. she went for some tests on Tues but they haven't called her back with the results. you know how they have to wait for the doctor to review the tests and the doc calls i guess.
i guess i can say i'm thankful that i went ahead and cancelled my account this afternoon. it didn't take too long...around 10 minutes. i know the woman i talked to had to ask me a bunch of questions to try to get me to not cancel but i tried to finish as fast as i could. she was helpful though..i know that i can keep my email with them,i just have to go to internet explorer i guess to do it...i can't do that on this computer because its so screwed up i can't update IE so i can't use it here.
i've got one payment coming to pay but other than that i will be saving money. kinda feel better about that because the money i'll save not having the ips i'll be able to afford my ticket to NYCC this year and then some;)

Re: what are YOU thankful for?
i think i'm saying it right...isp is internet service provider or the place where you get on the net from...like peoplepc, aol, msn, optonline, verizon etc.
i don't know what i'm on right now..it might be optonline? i think the cable tv we get is IO and its a three day deal..tv,computer and phone all i one package.

You're a runner ARNIgal? I don't think I'll ever have the wind to be a runner... But I do think about it on occasion. I think I'll have to be content with being a walker.
Re: what are YOU thankful for?
I couldn't run if my life depended on it, these asthmatic lungs of mine just won't allow it. So I'm a walker too.
I'm thankful for the great weather we've had lately, it's been such a nice change over what we had last week.

Re: what are YOU thankful for?
i'm thankful i made it through another day of work..it was real hell today and my next to last customer was a major jerk.why people think they need to come into stores and be mean and nasty and inconsiderate to the people who are cashing them out is beyond any of my comprehension. (yet if they complain to corporate i could lose my job at the blink of an eye).

I'm glad you didn't stoop to his level and tell him off, costing you a job, Jeane. Jerks like him make us really appreciate the truly nice people we come across in life.
I'm thankful I'm still healthy with a roof over my head. I might not have AC but at least I don't get rained on....

Re: what are YOU thankful for?
Yup...I run every morning, mostly just to wake me up. On a related note, I was VERY thankful for the cooler air this a.m.; it kept all of those teeny gnatty bugs away
Jeane, I soooooooooooooo hated jerks like that when I worked in a dept store many moons ago... !!
