There wasn't any leftovers on the roast. Normally I serve the leftovers for lunch. Tonight it was meat loaf, roasted brussel sprouts, that I tossed in olive oil, minced garlic and ginger. Squeezed some orange juice on it.

Re: For Dinner Tonight?
Tonight was a roast chicken from the grocery store (surprisingly good) and pasta with broccoli from the CSA on the side. Surprising how much better fresh broccoli tastes. I love the everyday kind, but fresh is really good.

A wonderful tiny pot pie from the local bakery. It had pulled pork in it. Delish.

I had quiche with artichokes, spinach and red roasted peppers in it from Whole Foods.

Whole Foods opened this week near my old office. I will make a stop when it's not as crazy as the first week. That quiche sounds amazing.

Re: For Dinner Tonight?
Home made chicken noodle soup. I added a sweet potato just because I thought it sounded good. It was.

More soup. Still good. I definitely recommend the sweet potato, Sue. It's better than white ones in my opinion.

Re: For Dinner Tonight?
The CSA basket had the last of summer veggies (yellow beans and a couple tomatoes), some broccoli, cauliflower, greens, and beets. I think I'll do something with the cauliflower and broccoli. I love those, and they're even better fresh.

Ham, potatoes, and veg. The ham was a little salty. Smithfield... Chinese ham. A bit salty... I prefer Edwards Country Ham for country ham, but this was supposed to be sugar cured. Hmm...

I think we'll have some kind of fish. Gateway will appreciate the bites he gets after his big adventure in the CAR.

YUM!
Chinese food because I didn't feel like cooking when we got home. Mushu pork. Good, but not special.
