That's interesting. It's a member of the mint family and hardy. I can grow it and I'm infamous for killing plants. Tia Sue

Lorien couldn't get enough of fresh catnip. She ate it as fast I gave it to her. Jack and Tortie liked fresh catnip, but not on the level Lorien did. I didn't think Jack and Tortie ate enough fresh catnip to continue getting it after Lorien was put down. I went a few years without buying dried catnip. I'm not sure Junko ever got exposed to fresh catnip. She has been exposed to dried catnip.

If you want buy a new plant and grow it. It's a lovely plant and the flowers will draw bees and butterflies. Tia Sue

I love catnip. I like dry better than fresh. My meowmy says there is a plant outside that my brother Petie used to love. I never met Petie, but I have heard many stories about him. I do not know why he liked the fresh catnip. If you don't like it, Bud, that is ok. You will find what you like.

Right now, I'm enjoying the simple things. I'm still getting used to being inside. Sometimes I feel trapped but I tell Food Lady and she opens a door so I can leave if I wish. Bud

I showed up as a hungry stray and my ribs were showing. I got food when I showed up. One day, I saw a open door and walked in. You might as well say I adopted them. I ran away one time and spent the night outside. Next morning, I let my caddy pick me up and bring me inside. I have it good. My mama thinks I'm almost 18 years old.

Hi, Jack. It's Tia Sue. Bud has been for morning noms and a nap. You are an elder statesman and hopefully Bud can learn from you.

Hi Jack. My brother GK was like you. He said he came here hungry and scared. He got noms and then one day when it was cold he came inside-y. He did not want to be inside-y all the time until he got very old. He never went very far though.

Hi, Jack. It's Bud, I've come in for my morning noms and nap. I'm also demanding pets and scritches from the Food Lady. She's always willing to give them, she keeps telling me to watch my Murder Mitts though. Bud

Hi Bud. I got noms whenever I showed up. When I walked in the house, I mainly stayed. Few times I escaped, but I was sent back in. Only once I ran away. I found out being inside was better. It's good you demand pets and scritches from Food Lady. I demand pets and rubs of ears and neck. I don't have Murder Mitts. My sisters have Razors, which may be almost the same thing as Murder Mitts.

Yeah! My sister has Murder Mitts, and I think they are the same thing. I have pins, but I usually do not need to use them. I am the king of Softie Paws.

these are scimitars attached to his paws. He's not mean with them but he has to learn to retract them when he makes biscuits. So far I have seen him today. The weather is bad so I'm sure he's denned up someplace.

Hi, my name is Patch. I'm called Patch because I have a small patch of white hair on my black fur. I'm not sure about this inside thing. The Food Lady is kind and the water is always fresh. I like to hang out but I'm not sure about staying inside like Bud does. Still it's nice to eat and rest in quiet. Patch

Hi Patch! Try it out for a while. You will find that Food Lady has cool airs when it's hot and yucky outside and warm airs when it is cold and yucky outside. Stay while you want. My brother GK did that and found out that he liked inside-y a lot. He liked going out, but he decided inside-y was the best when the weather was not.

Hi, Mouski. I will think about what you said. It is nice to eat food that doesn't have bugs in it or have to give it up to the wild things. As far the water, it's not scummy or foul tasting. Still, I will think about you said. Patch

We don't know anything about doggies, so we can't help out there.

My doggie is different from lots of doggies. He does not chase us and he usually doesn't bark. He will try to eat our foods, so my meowmy makes him stay outside-y while we have breakfast and supper. He is very nice to me.

I have heard that doggies can be very mean to kitties, so I do recommend that you avoid them if your meowmy or the Food Lady doesn't introduce them. Even if she does, be careful while you get to know them.

I'm glad your doggie is a good doggie. The ones outside are vicious. I know Food Lady will protect us, when she is near.

The weather was mild so I spent most of the day outside, I know it worries Food Lady but I'm still getting used to living inside. Patch is still uncertain about it all and I'm not too sure about Sport. He comes in, eats and leaves. Bud

It sounds like Sport is the protector. He patrols the boundary. We have kitties like that here. They make sure the rodents are kept at bay (mostly), and that other kitties don't come too close. I am glad they are here because that means I do not have to do that from inside-y.

It sounds like you are settling in. I hope you start to love your new house-y. It took me a while to get used to mine, but now I wouldn't leave it for anything.

It's interesting. The Food Lady thinks I had people at one point. I don't know, it's all so vague. Still she does her best to make sure all of our needs are met. Bud
