Rodent Patrol Part II

I will do my best. She's muttering something about fleas this morning. That doesn't sound promising. I hate that stuff. Bud

It is pretty terrible but fleas are the worst. When I had them, I had bloods on me. It was MY bloods. It was itchy and awful. My meowmy had to give me a BATH. Those are almost worse that going to the Bridge. I recommend being good for the drops since they are so much better than a BATH.

I will try. She gives me treats, while she is doing it. The bath does sound horrific. Bud

I have to take pills. My meowmy gives me treats for those too. Treats make everything better. My weird sister does not care about treats. I think she needs to see the doctor about that.

Bud here. Well then you can have her share. Food Lady has been putting the icky stuff on me. She gets me when I'm going out the door. UGH!! I wish she wouldn't but I've been told it's the price of nomming and napping inside.

My meowmy says "suck it up buttercup" when she gives us ours. I think that's rude.

Patch, here I just dropped in for my evening noms. So far Food Lady has not tried that with me. She says I'm too spooky. I'm still trying to decide about all of this. Food Lady is patient though.

Bud, here I've forgiven Food Lady for taking such liberties with me. Right now we are hanging out, it's mild here in Dallas so we've been on the back porch. I've been nomming and napping. She's been reading. Right now she is trying to teach me to be gentle with my murder mitts and love bits. She doesn't get upset, just tells me I'm rude and moves away.

My meowmy always says softie paws. I learned when I was tiny that murder mitts are not what she likes. Sometimes they still sneak out though. I know you will try. The good noms and nice inside-y are worth it!

I've been trying and Food Lady is very kind. Today I spent most of the day inside. I went outside to potty and to enjoy the day. It was mild here but still being inside was nice. It's wonderful not have to be on your guard all the time. Patch is here too, she is next to the open door. She's still spooky and Sport will come in and grab a bit then leave. Bud

Bud, maybe you become all the time inside. I like it better inside. Since I'm sick, I get all the quality time in that I can.

It's good to meet you. I'm sorry your feeling poorly. I like it inside too. Today I spent all day napping and nomming. I'll go out later to potty and check out what's happening to in the hood. Food Lady had an inside potty but I wasn't sure about it. So for the time being I ask to go outside. I don't think Food Lady is happy when I ask in the middle of the night though. Bud

MOL My brother, Indiana Jones, used to ask to go outside for potty all the time. He would walk on my meowmy's head and she would open the window at the top of the bed. Then, he would jump in the window and sing to come back inside-y. He was gone before I came, but sometimes he visits to tell me about being the Adventure Kitty.

Food Lady thinks I'm making things harder than they should be. MOL!! Today she got me to play a bit, that really made her happy and she gave me treats and ear scritches. Bud

I am the only one who likes ear rubs. I also get neck rubs. I am not fond of scritches. I have heard my hoomans talk about Lorien asking for back scritches. She is gone now.

I like ear rubs too, I like all sorts of petting. I love it when Food Lady runs her nails down my back and the scratches the base of my tail. Bud
