How's the weather?

It's G-L-O-R-I-O-U-S!!!!!!! I'm loving this weather!

we go hit by a really big storm around 3:00 this afternoon. i didn't see any more than the heavy rain but they said there would be hail and high winds. AND we're breaking heat records all over NY and NJ!

GORGEOUS HERE TODAY! Started out nice and cool at about 62 this morning, not much humidity, now it's partly cloudy, light breeze, 72 and only 52% humidity. Only going up a couple more degrees so a great day to be out and about or at home with the windows wide open.

AHHHHHHHH, this is much more like it! I could handle today and tonight's weather year round if that were possible.

it looks nice out side..i haven't so much as opened the door today...,if there's a repeat on Dr Oz i'm going to go up and make some sun tea and try to read a few chapters of the book i'm on.
so far i haven't heard any thunder or pouring rain!

EARTHQUAKE!!!! WHOA!!!

Well the only thing I have to report is that is hot and humid.

I heard Mexico had a quake today.

Here it's partly sunny, nice light breeze, and only getting up to around 80 today with that lower humidity. Another Goreous Day! But I know it won't last, but I'm enjoying it as much as I can while it lasts.

pretty nice today....was still a bit hotter than i'd prefer but nothing to complain about since its the last day of June. its supposed to be nice for the next few days as well.

I think today may be the first day in weeks that hasn't broken 90. We've had a good bit of rain over the last couple of days, so I'm grateful for relief!

not bad here either...i never got up there to read, but i did have to go outside to make a phone call and do my sun tea. i hope its this nice this weekend..would be nice to walk home and not sweat!

the last three days have been glorious. I didn't even need a fan last night.

Me neither, and I've slept with the windows open the past 3 nights. Sooo much nicer than last weeks' weather. It's nice out today too, a few degrees warmer than yesterday and the humidity hasn't started to rise--yet. We're supposed to get rain just in time for the fireworks Sunday night............I hope the weatherman is wrong on that.

ooooo....there's a heat wave coming...its supposed to start tomorrow. could be up to 100 and stay there for the whole week ahead. not looking forward to that....i never got the ac unit i was promised earlier this year. looks like another summer in hell.

Yup, heat wave is here today, going up to 87 or so with rising humidity. Rain on the horizon for tomorrow night and all day Monday. Then the temps drop a bit into the lower 80's again.

we're supposed to be getting mid to upper 90s and close to 100 by Tues. there's a heat advisory and health alert out for tomorrow already. esh...not looking forward to walking home in that!(and i'm still lugging home around 30 cans of cat food everyday!).

On that note I'm not whining about mine.

100 degrees all over Joisey today;) and supposed to not get any lower all week! when i finally got home today (took me about as long to walk home in the heat carrying a heavy load as it did back in the winter when there were snow drifts and ice patches!)you coulda wrung me out like a wet towel i was so drippy.
i'm off tomorrow but when i go back Tues i'm going to take full litre bottles and freeze them.

have the nj news on right now and they just had the lady in front of the bank not far down the road from here. there's one of those electric signs out front and it was showing 100 degrees so its official at almost 6:00pm its 100 here! (it had to have been higher than that around 2 or 3:00).
i'm down here with one fan going and tolerating it. the kitties were stretched out on the bed where the fan is blowing but i feel bad cuz i can't get to where i need to plug in the fan for nobe. I think i'm going to have to out and unplug something to plug her fan in. i don't want her down here with nothing (nor anything for the other kitties)while i'm at work tomorrow.

God, your heat is worse than ours here. It hasn't cooled off below 72 all weekend long, and at midnight the past two nights it was still over 80 here and very humid. It's 81 right now but feels like 85 with the humidity. Going up to 87 so you can imagine what it will feel like with the humidity factored in. Any wonder I have trouble sleeping in that heat.............and with the neighbor kids shooting off loud fireworks past midnight every night. It's a miracle they haven't set the building on fire yet. They've got rain in the forecast all week long, but all we got yesterday were a couple sprinkles, enough to up the humidity past miserable but not enough to begin cooling things off.

Same here. The weather on Saturday and Sunday was just spectacular. Our AC is out at the moment, and we didn't want to pay those incredibly special rates to have it fixed over the holiday weekend. We really weren't uncomfortable at all. Today was a different story... If I had a first-born, I'd be tempted to sell him for some relief. I think I may just have to go take a cold shower just to be able to consider getting sleep in this! Jeepers!

Hoo! Wishing you some relief soon! Isn't it always the way? My folks furnace used to go out around Christmas and they'd often have to call the plumber to have the sewer routed at Easter, so I remember them fussing over those "special" rates many times.

It's nice and cool here today, and it's supposed to be nice tomorrow as well. It's normal for us to have temperatures in the 100's, so summer days in the 70's are a real treat.

I have officially sweated thru all my clean clothes

was over 100 yesterday and 100 today...they still have the heat advisories up etc. i have the two little fans going in the back area (toothpicky is the smartest kitty...he gets on the bed and stretches out for the air to blow on hit belly:) )and i unplugged the microwave and plugged in nobe's floor fan. poor kitty was starting to look wilted last night. she was stretched out on her side with her legs straight out and it looked too much like how poor Buddy was at the end when it was so hot. she's going better now with the fan about 4 feet away:)
