How's the weather?

i think we're getting your weather a day or two later.

Better dig out the iwnter clothes then Jeane. It was barely 36 here this morning, with patchy frost all over. We might get to 60 today, but it wil drop to near freezing tonight (33). Brrrrrr.............I am not ready for this.

Last few years we seem to go from summer to winter then back again, no fall or spring. What I want is Extended Spring, short summer, Extended Fall, short winter. Somehow I can't make Captain Picard's "Make it so!" work for me.

i know i sound like an old fart...but i want it to be the way it was when i was a kid...even when i was in college!.....the first snow fell before Halloween (just flurries)and you had a fall jacket you wore til then. the measureable snow came around thanksgiving (just enough to cover the ground...maybe enough for a small snowman)and you had a few inches of snow until christmas (then there would be enough for a snowman:) ). once or twice between christmas and valentines you got snowed in enough to miss a couple days of school. but by the first of March the snow would be melting. by the end of the month you'd break out you 'spring' coat.
you'd be able to wear your spring coat or a windbreaker(remember those?) or a cardigan until June. three months of weather in the upper 70s and 80s (with a heat wave about the same as the heavy snow in the winter) and you're back to Sept and light jacket weather!

now i think that weather only exists in fairytales!

Downright frigid in the morning.................35 yesterday and 40 today for breakfast. It did get up to about 60 yesterday, supposed to get to around 68 today. Rest of the week we'll be flirting with 80 in the afternoon with no rain in sight. They're already saying this is our Indian Summer, which if I remember right is about a month early compared to when I was a kid.

It's 64 right now as I type this.

49 degrees last night. high around 65 today, supposed to go hi 40s low 50s at night for the rest of the week. I had to put a blanket on last night. I wonder when they will start turning on the heat. I took everything off the radiator in my bedroom (it has a cover so I use it to put things on when the heat is not going) just in case they start giving us heat.

A tad warmer, 41 for work this morning. But supposed to be around 75-77 by work this afternoon.

We're having an absolutely glorious week here on the prairie. Cool in the mornings, but by afternoon, the sun is lovely and warm.

nice...no rain and i just had to keep my sweatshirt on while i was sitting outside. i hope its like this in a couple weeks. dry and cool will be fine!

same here. i like the temps like this, but it will heat up again this weekend and they expect sunny days through Tues with day temps around 80

i'm hoping this weather will come around NEXT week! after all, we'll be standing outside waiting to get into NYCC and it would be a hassle to be standing in the rain!

We're supposed to cool off a bit by Monday, highs in the lower 70's instead of 80-82. Mornings will be about the same though until around Thursday, that's when the next round of rain comes in to dampen our fallen leaves. Right now walking across the yard sounds like I'm walking on potato chips....

beautiful today....but the news is saying next week there's supposed to be rain..esh. well we'll see...i just would like it to be this nice NEXT weekend!

This is a perfect weekend. Temperate sunny days, cool nights, all windows open. No heat or AC, just the outdoors circulating throughout the house. Believe me, I am appreciating it. Nothing lasts forever, but right now, these two days, it's just right. *sigh of pleasure*

aaarrrgh! its tooooooo HOTTTT!!! no ac at work since i think mid Sept and its so hot outside that i sweat through my clothes like it was mid july on the walk home!!

Nice today, except for the rain we're supposed to have later today. I hope it holds off until school is done and we're all home......supposed to get to around 70 today, and we started out at 50 this morning so not too cold. The trees are half naked already, and leaves are all over the place. In some places they're already up to my ankles!

This has been the most glorious string of weather I could have ever asked for! As Fif mentions, it's supposed to come to an end tonight or tomorrow, but wow, did I ever enjoy it!

we're supposed to get that rain tomorrow and thurs (though they say only thurs morning...i need to look at the NYCC schedule to see when i have to go out for the bus). but it was pretty nice here today.

Rain showed up just as we were coming back inside from taking Bij outside for a ride. Rained all night, now it's just icky out: humid, cool, threatening more rain.

Freezing! Windchill was 32 this morning. Supposed to be 'below average' all week long. Brrrrrr......
