63 degrees, the sun is our but it is windy. It's actually cooler than it was this morning

Windy and coldish. Last night when the front blew through it sounded like a hailstorm outside as the acorns rained down!

hear its black walnuts...those things are HUGE! bigger than a golf ball with the green husk is still on.
it was chilly today...almost too chilly for shorts but i wore 'em anyway! i think i'j going to have to start wearing my work pants home and take a sweatshirt to wear home...or a denium jacket.

I actually wore a coat to work this morning and had to wear it when I went out at midday, too.

We have walnuts and acorns falling all over here. It's a tad warmer but it won't last long. At least the rain and wind quit for now.

Today is actually a nice fall day, with warm sun and a tiny nip if you're in the shade. I cut down my roses today to get them ready for winter.

same here...too warm in the sun for a jacket but too cool otherwise to not have one.
the dude down on the corner snipped his roses too...but he dumped them on the street! degrading for the poor flowers that were still nice and not the correct way to dispose of anything esp when it just gets in the drains and clogs them for flooding!

nice out, high 65 , warm for a jacket in the sun, but coolish otherwise. supposed to go down to high 50s by end of the week

yeah really nice... i've been wearing shorts on my walk home but a sweatshirt (lightweight!)cuz my arms get colder than my legs.

nice and sunny today. low sixties, supposed to maybe get some rain tonight into tomorrow. they said the outer areas of the tristate (Poconos, westchester might even get some shnow) cooling down toward the end of the week.

i've heard of a possible flyurry or two...which is what we always seemed to get back home for halloween.....fine with me. my 'costume' for Mon has a hooded long sweatshirt as part of it so the cooler the better for me! for years i've been wearing that thing home and sweating to death! .....hmm....reminds me, i need to find where i put my kitty mask and glasses! (i THINK my fancy cosplay tail is still pinned to the sweatshirt.
Sat i'm going to have to bring a little somethign with me to work to wear home...the grocery store is having a deal where if you wear a costume you get a free bag and go around and fill it with treats. as long as they haven't run out before i get there..i might get something for halloweenL:) that's also the day we are having the trick or treat at work,,,but we can't dress up that day.

rainy today and the temp is dropping instead of going up. Saturday is our really rainy day, maybe snowy.

wet wet and chilly..not cold but chilly. sweater under a sweatshirt and i was fine....garbage bag raincoat over that and only got splashed once...by a freakin school bus!

nice and sunny today but it was only 38 deg this morning, going up to 50

yeahyeahsnow...its not going to stick cuz the ground is too warm! if it sticks and isn't a slushy nasty sloppy mess i'll be shocked. i do need to get soething out to wear though...a denium jacket over a sweatshirt probably. my snow boots never got put away from last year!

Don't know about the "ground being too warm", jeanne - before noon saturday, the stuff was FREEZING on the roads around here - I cancelled a trip up to north jersey (huntingdon county) - they were predicting 6" by this evening, just when I wanted to head back home.

well,it didn't start sticking here until noon...color me shocked. but it was very wet and very heavy snow. walking home yesterday there were chunks falling off the powerlines and solar panels (supposedly this town has more solar panels than anywhere in the US...and i swear i walk under about 100 of them on the walk home! the trees were so laden with the heavy snow that branches were falling off and trees were breaking in half. one japanese willow (i think thaT's what it is)was so weighed down that i thought the entire thing has smashed...but it was just those willow branches brent over.
i normally walk facing traffic on the street with no sidewalk on that side...but i saw some branches down and took the other side of the street. welp, as i walked branches kept falling off on the other side...and half a tree fell almost in front of me...i woulda been walking under that thing! i wished that my camera would let me share pictures still..i woulda had it out and taken pictures! i've lived through a lot , but i've NEVER seen trees breaking in front of me like that! honestly, this is worse than when the hurricane came through earlier this year.
Jim, did you lose any trees/electric down your way??
