How's the weather?

It was a bit warmer here today, although not as warm as they thought it would be. Just beautiful! I'll take it.

I'm not sure we could have nicer weather. The breeze is blowing, the humidity is low, and the temperature is completely comfortable for tee shirts and jeans or maybe a light sweatshirt. We could use a little rain just to keep the grass growing for another month, but I'm not complaining. We're fortunate to have had a nice summer that wasn't too dry.

All the windows in the house are open, and I'm loving the nice airy feeling. Wheeee! I'll keep this weather.

A bit warmer here today too....53 this morning going up to around 80 today. Nice and sunny too, light breeze. Perfect shorts and tshirt weather. Just needed a jacket and light pants for work this morning.

It's absolutely stunning out there right now.

Warmer today.......barely needed the jacket and long pants at all this morning. 57 already at 8am. It's gorgeous out there right now....so going on a bike ride when I leave the library.

It poured buckets here this afternoon.

We could definitely use some rain. None is predicted until next weekend, although there's a tropical depression in the Atlantic that might change things. (No more October tropical adventures! Sandy was plenty, thank you very much.) Today is cloudy and more humid, but still pleasant with a nice breeze. Good day for playing with horses.

It poured buckets here yesterday. Today so far it's mild and clear.

It is going to be the in 80s Wednesday and Thursday!

It's in the 80's still here, it could be worse.

We're supposed to warm up for the next couple days, but it'll be fine. Low 80s are my favorite temps. We'll be able to open the windows all day rather than opening during the day and closing at night.

Cool in the morning, warm in the afternoon. Today we go up to maybe 84, then some rain the next few days off/on....then a major cooldown early next week. They're talking 37 for at least one of my morning shifts next week!
Good thing I'm fixing my winter gear so it stays up, I'm going to need it!  

Drenching downpour yesterday morning after pouring, thundering, and lightening like crazy starting at 3am. Needless to say, I was a zombie from lack of sleep and got soaked at work from the rain and trying to drive in the fog too. Barely going 5 mph and still couldn't see where I was going. It's a wonder the idiots on the highway didn't get into accidents they were zooming by so fast. I KNOW they couldn't see any better than I could driving.
Got home from the library just as the skies were opening up again....so everybody got soaked all afternoon and after school too. So hard to breathe......I need gills. And more storms last night to disturb my sleep. Supposed to get more today too and it's getting dark out there as I type this.....

We're due for that kind of weather tomorrow night and Tuesday. I won't be sorry to see some rain.

Yippee! We had lots of rain. The ground has softened back up. Phew! It was warm rain. so the kids didn't mind staying out in it while we drove home. They're sleeping in their nice clean stalls now.

we had a major storm yesterday around 4pm but it only lasted a short time. no thunder or lightning as predicted but damaging winds, and a funnel cloud over Paterson NJ by they time I left the office it had stopped raining and we didn't get the prolonged rain as predicted. Weathermen, feh.
its noticeably colder now. last week's 90s a thing of the past. I should have worn a light jacket this morning. Ill know better tomorrow

Now that the storms are done, it's chilly. More rain and wind are forecast for the rest of the week. I don't mind because it will get us back to normal rainfall for the season. We had almost no rain in September.

Chilly here at night.......42 yesterday and 43 for work this morning.....but nice in the afternoon. 73 yesterday, with a stiff breeze. Supposed to get to maybe 73 today too but less wind, I hope. Rain in the forecast for Saturday. Figures, I have a health fair to stand in line several hours to get in on Saturday.

Rain, cold, windy.....and going to get colder. We'll be lucky to get above 52 for a high all week long.
Brrrrr......I am NOT ready for winter!

Ick! I know I'm not ready for winter. Fortunately, our temps are still good. The rain seems to be moving out, so maybe we'll be able to enjoy some of the fall colors.

Still raining and cold. 15° colder than yesterday at this time. We'll be lucky to break 50 today. So gloomy, dark, hibernating weather if I ever saw it.

Hung out my window yesterday between rain shower to scrape off the paint the repairmen slopped on my bedroom window....then reached waaaaaay out (hoping I don't fall out!) to caulk the crack they didn't bother to fill in. (it was 64 so not so cold) Now I know the moisture won't get in, fry out the bedroom electical, and set the building on fire. These guy never finish what they start and I only wait for so long........ If the landlord doesn't like it they should finish it, even if they do a crappier job than I do.

Now it appears that the weather people have moved the dreaded 's' word to next Tuesday.  Did I mention the other morning when I went to let the dogs out at 5:00 AM, there was a fine mist falling that looked like snow flurries?  It was just the way the outside light hit the droplets, but boy, that was a heck of a way to wake up!  

There was frost on the top of the hot tub again this morning though. I don't quite know why, because I didn't see it anywhere else, and I don't think it was 32° outside. I'm sure it was in the upper 30s.

The weather report predicted rain for today. It was wrong. We're getting snow. 

COLD! Gloomy out there too. We went from above average to below average in only two days. 46 this morning for work....brrrrrrr. Stitching in a new zipper for my winter coat, hope I get it done quick! I have a feeling I'm going to need it before Sunday.

Fall has arrived. It's chilly, the breeze is blowing, and nights are COLD. We ran the wood stove last night. It felt good, and all the kitties shared in the toastiness. Gateway is trying to get over his new brother. GK is doing that more quickly and actually relaxed to enjoy the eat.
