I don't know, right now I'm eating some fruit with Greek yogurt.
No honey, I need to buy some.

Re: what are YOU thankful for?
I can relate to that....i need honey too.....i have a couple bears with a little crystalized at the bottom but i never find them when i need or want them! i don't know the name of it, but there's a type of honey that is supposed to be a really good antiboitic.i know all honey is to one extent, but this is supposed to be so good they put it on bandaids and sell it that way! (as well as selling it just to eat!)

Crystalized honey is still good, just gently warm it in the bottle in a pan of water, or in a bowl in the microwave. It will liquify again so you can use it.
Thankful it's still cool today, I have a lot to get done before HUD comes and its' hard to be motivated when it's so hot you can barely function.

Thankful that Serena(community service) brought a friend with her today.
The friend had the same thing happen to her and told me what to do help
get over it. Thanks to her I'm feeling a lot better.

Re: what are YOU thankful for?
I got lucky today! I joined a "10,000 Steps A Day" exercise program at work, where they ask us to wear a pedometer and log our steps each week into a database. Well, they pick one winner per week from the people who signed up, and I won a 4 Gb iPod shuffle today! It has the name of the insurance complany engraved on it, but that's OK! I'm sure it will play just fine!
Re: what are YOU thankful for?
did you have to set up your pedometer? i bought one through Avon a few weeks ago and haven't set it up yet. i think i need to go upstairs with my measuring tape and see how long my stride is. i want to know how many steps i take on an average day at work. i know the aim is 10,000 steps and i want to see how many i take normally and then add to it if i need to.
i think the idea of the prizes is great...i wouldn't care if the ipod had a logo on it...the insides work the same no matter what it says on the outside;) i bet you'll have that download half full in no time;) (wonder if walking to music will increase your steps!)

Thankful my nephew is healthy. This is one visit where he didn't show up with a cast, or stitches, or bruises. Kid thinks he's indestructible.

I tried to measure my stride, but I found it easier to just use the calculation I found online for it - and it seems to be pretty close to what I tried to measure anyway. Take your height in inches and multiply by .413 (for women) or by .415 (for men). Here's my stride length:
Height = 62" (yep, I'm short), so 62 x .413 = 25.606" stride. So I have roughly a 25 1/2" stride.
1 mile = 5280 ft. and that converts to 63,360 inches. Divide that by my 25.6" stride and I have to walk have 2475 steps to go a mile.
Re: what are YOU thankful for?
i'll have to try that...have to find the calculator first though! though i do a lot of math every day at work when it comes to decimal points i need a calculator;)
today i'm thankful when the lights went out this afternoon(I think they're doing sometingon the turnpike)it was only for a few minutes.and thankful Memphis Beat is back...nice to have something new to watch!

That my building manager gave us 10 days notice about annual HUD bigshot inspection instead of the usual 12-18 hours.

Re: what are YOU thankful for?
no tgif for me...they gave me today off so my work week STARTS on SAt!!
i can't get the stupid calculators i find on line to work but i THINK (by dividing by pencil and paper) i need to walk approx 2300 or 2350 steps for a mile. my stride comes to 27.258 but whenever i enter it into an online calculator i wind up with a square root or something weird! (all the calculators i have here are solar powered so its too dark down here to make them work......maybe my next day off i'll take it outside and get the correct #). I've been figuring 2000 steps = a mile so whatever it is i'm pretty close.
what am i thankful for today..that ...gawd this is getting hard... that i have enough lemon juice in my little squeezy lemon to make lemon water for the whole day and have enough to make a bottle for work tomorrow. (i've started taking a bottle of water with lemon juice and a little of the UBET vanilla syrup. its my 'i'm not going to drink pop or something equally sugary or high calorie at work' stuff. i need more than just plain tea and water to get through the day.(and no, diet pop and me don't get along too well..i can drink it but its not worth it unless i have no other optionl;) )

Re: what are YOU thankful for?
Sorry to hear about your bad days, Fif and JB.
As for the stride length for your pedometer, yours is 27.258 inches. That would make 2325 steps in a mile.

Re: what are YOU thankful for?
glad i made it through another day.
and next time its raining (i can't walk and read in the rain)I;ll have to count the steps into the miles and see how close i am to the 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 i figure it is. I'm off on Tues. i should dig out that pedometer and see if i can set it. (then the counting would be done for me!)
