Re: Bingo found a home
He definitely knows the word. I told him tomorrow is play day, and he about wiggled himself into a pretzel. I need to remember to bring a couple cookies for him at rest time. They get an hour of lie-down time inside. Tomorrow, they might be in for the morning because it's supposed to rain. There's a big play room with balls, tug toys, and teeter totters. I don't know if Bingo plays with the toys, but I hope he does.

I'm sure he does, especially if he has friends doing it.

Re: Bingo found a home
When my husband picked him up today, the people said he plays and plays, and then he heads to one of the rest spots for a short nap. They have little spots in the play runs for dogs who want a break, and they say a lot of them in his group like to do that. They kind of take turns being the rest dog.

I second that emotion Sue! Bingo has found a sort of doggie heaven with playtime like that.

Clean doggie! He went to the play care place for a bath, and he looks/smells great. They even gave him a little bandana with Easter eggs. on it. I feel a little guilty because he thought he was going to play, but they didn't have any afternoon openings, so he just got a bath and came home. He has to wait until Wednesday to play. Poor doggie.

I'm sure he got lots of treats and cuddles to make up for it.

He will make up for it on Wednesday, I'm sure. Right now, he's enjoying the warm sun next to the barn. The temperatures are very chilly for this time of year, but the sun against the barn wall is really nice.

Poor dog thought he had play day today. Whenever I leave early now, he thinks he loads up to go play. I felt so guilty looking at him as I closed the door.

No sad dog eyes today. It was a beautiful, warm spring day, and he got to spend most of it outside with a big beef rib bone. Happy dog!

Re: Bingo found a home
Bingo got to visit his friends down the road.We went for a nice walk in the sunny weather, and they were out in their run. He loves to play with them. It was fun to see the three of them (William is a foxhound, and Monet is a beagle). They had the hound-y howls going.
Two play days in a row makes for a tired pup.

Re: Bingo found a home
First thing this morning, Bingo was in full voice as he chased the geese out of the yard. They honked and honked while they flew low back to the water. I think they're playing with each other. He has no intention of actually catching them. He just likes chasing them and hearing them honk. They didn't seem too flustered. I think they have an agreement.

Bingo is now an official play care regular. There was a waiting list for Wednesday regulars, and one of his buddies changed to Thursdays, so he is on for every Wednesday. He's happy about that since it's his favorite day of the week.

Poor dog got no play today. It was rainy and yucky all day. We did get a quick walk in, but it was so blustery that I almost lost my umbrella. We decided we'd hustle back to the house. He's been sleeping on all of his pillows all day.

Good dog! When I went out to feed horses, Bingo ran to the trees next to the driveway. He was barking. I saw a raccoon going up. I like that he's keeping the silly things out of the bird feeders. I don't mind them being around, but I'd rather not have them coming into the barn or thinking this is the snack bar.

Re: Bingo found a home
Bingo had a spa day today. He went to get a bath, and then got a massage. He LOVES his massages and really loves the guy who gives them. He feeds treats during the massage, so it's a two-fer.
