Thankful for caffeine and aleve......it works on migraines if you take them quick enough when they just get started.

I'm thankful I got up, was able to see and walk, and in general that my health is good.

I'm thankful they fixed the boiler in the building where I work. It was absolutely freezing all morning. The heat is just starting to come up now.
If anyone is interested here is a little bit about the building. Currently it is the home of the 9/11 Memorial preview museum, and where people go to get tickets to the memorial

Interesting...but they need a proofreader. I found a typo on the page.
We have a building in Beloit that looks a lot like your building, same kind of structural decorations.

Re: what are YOU thankful for?
No mortgage burning ... YET. Had to send $49 to the county this morning with a note from the bank so they could record the release, but once I'm sure they've done that - Burn, baby burn!!!

Re: what are YOU thankful for?
I'm thankful you got it too Lovekitties......I hear NY state is in a state of epidemic, but so is IL but that's closer to Chicago than here. Even if you still get the flu it will be a much milder case, not the kind that lands you in the ER or hospital.

Re: what are YOU thankful for?
I hear it's happening all over the country. The H3N2 is really bad. We have an epidemic in Rock County just a few miles north of me. HUGE 80% jump over last year.....and they wonder why. 300 just in the past month were put in the hospital because of it. Last year in late December the health department all over the country was giving flu shots away for free (after I'd already gotten mine) but they didn't have any free shots this year. Is it any wonder so many poor people are sick with the flu?
I'm thankful I already got my shot 2 months ago....and I haven't been around anyone so far that's had the flu.
The paper said my county has a below the poverty line rate of 19.3%. If you add those on the border teetering between poverty and middle class that rate jumps to 33%. Most of this 33% has no health insurance or transportation to get the shots.

Re: what are YOU thankful for?
I just got back from feeding the Away Group, this is two stations on Worth
Street, NOT BAYLOR!!! Anyway on the front porch of this empty triplex I found
approximately 50 pounds of Meow Mix. Will know more tomorrow when I unload
the van. I'm stunned, I think I know where it came from but I need to call who I think
left it. If it was her, I will really be stunned.

Re: what are YOU thankful for?
Whoever left that bag did a big favor for the kitties. 50# should last a little while at least......and I'm thankful that bag was left for them. It's not a cheap store brand with questionable nutrition.

Re: what are YOU thankful for?
It was Meow Mix, while not great is a lot better than the store brands.

Re: what are YOU thankful for?
Did you call? Did the person deny it? I'm not sure you should press the point. Whoever did it might do it again if you don't unmask them.
